Plaimpied-Givaudins en Fête

The 2024 edition of Plaimpied-Givaudins en Fête took place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, bringing together nearly 700 people in the municipal park for a festive and convivial evening. The 7:30 PM concert featured Gadjo Duo, a gypsy jazz group that enchanted the audience with their renditions of Django Reinhardt and their original compositions. The relaxed musical atmosphere allowed spectators to fully enjoy the mild September evening, comfortably seated in the park.

At 9:30 PM, the torchlight procession gathered young and old for a luminous parade through the village streets, creating a magical and solemn atmosphere. The procession headed to the municipal grounds where the fireworks display at 10:00 PM illuminated the sky of Plaimpied-Givaudins for 18 minutes, offering a colorful and spectacular pyrotechnic show. The Festival Committee's refreshment stand operated until midnight, allowing participants to extend the evening in a warm and friendly atmosphere. This edition confirmed the success of this popular and family-friendly event.
