The 2024 Horse Festival

The 2024 edition of the Pompadour Horse Festival took place on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at the Puy-Marmont racecourse and equestrian stadium. The day began with the traditional mass at the racecourse at 9:30 AM, gathering the local equestrian community in a moment of reflection.

At 11:00 AM, the equestrian demonstration at the Puy-Marmont stadium allowed the public to appreciate the talents of the riders and the beauty of the presented horses. In the afternoon, the horse races attracted a large crowd, with the highlight event being the Grand Cross. In parallel, the show jumping competition offered high-level events, notably the 1.45m competition. This festive day confirmed Pompadour's attachment to its equestrian tradition.
