13th Edition — Summer 2025: Isabel Muñoz

The 13th edition of Portrait(s) took over the spaces of Vichy from June 20 to September 28, 2025. The flagship exhibition, titled The Left Hand of the Night, presented at the Grand Établissement Thermal the most extensive retrospective ever dedicated in France to Isabel Muñoz, an internationally renowned Spanish photographer. Over 80 works, from the 1980s to the present day, were displayed in the majestic halls of the thermal building.

In addition, a thematic exhibition dedicated to the Vichy check pattern explored the history of this iconic motif through photography and press imagery, from the mid-19th century to the present. Three artist residencies and the educational program Portrait(s) s'invite à l'école (Portrait(s) Comes to School) completed this rich and ambitious edition.
