Edition 2025 — Pupazzi
The 4th edition of the Pupazzi festival took place from October 24 to November 15, 2025, throughout Laval Agglo. This edition brought together 10,500 spectators for 18 companies, with a program combining puppet shows, object theatre, animated film, making workshops, and the Lantern Parade in the center of Laval.

4th Edition — October 24 to November 15, 2025
The Pupazzi festival returned for its 4th edition, continuing its reach throughout Laval Agglo. This edition hosted 18 companies and welcomed 10,500 spectators, confirming the festival's steady growth since its inception. From small-scale pieces to grand creations, from object theatre to animated film, the full spectrum of contemporary puppetry was showcased in a multitude of venues and offerings.
Highlights
Among the highlights of this edition were the show "Oink" by the Belgian company De Kaaimannen, featuring a giant 8-meter sow in the Theatre's hall, and the Lantern Parade, a magical and musical procession that brought together several hundred participants in the streets of Laval. The "À Table !" component also offered convivial evenings combining meals and puppet shows.
