2025 Edition — 20th Anniversary of Escale'N Jazz

The 20th edition of Escale'N Jazz, celebrated on April 5 and 6, 2025, in La Ville-du-Bois, marked a significant moment in the festival's history. Two decades of popular and festive jazz culminated in a high-quality weekend.

2025 Edition Program

Saturday, April 5 — At 4 PM, Roots of Blues performed a free concert at the municipal library, offering a lively introduction to the roots of American blues. In the evening at the Espace Escale, the night opened with the Woodtown Orchestra led by its usual musicians, accompanying singer Chris Lefischer in a moving tribute to French chanson classics (Brel, Aznavour, Piaf). The second part welcomed the Grand Orchestre du Splendid, a rhythmic and iconoclastic show that electrified the audience late into the night.

Sunday, April 6 — At 5 PM, the choreographic encounters concluded the weekend with several dance troupes presenting varied and colorful styles, demonstrating the deep links between jazz and movement.
