The grand return of punk to Jaligny-sur-Besbre
Five years after its last edition in Chavroches in 2018, Rock'n'Rural made its grand return on May 19 and 20, 2023, this time at the Espace de la Bertranne in Jaligny-sur-Besbre, in an indoor format. The festival hosted 10 bands over 2 days, including 7 with at least one female musician, true to its commitment to parity.
Friday night vibrated to the sounds of Krav Boca, Monde de Merde, Plastic Age, Ambre (a slam-rock band from Vichy), and Pathfinder. Saturday culminated with Brigada Flores Magon, The Eternal Youth, Brain Zero, Fuck It, and Fire Blossom. The sold-out event confirmed the audience's appetite for a human-scale punk festival in a rural setting.
