Edition 2024 — Route de la Rose en Fête
The 2024 edition of La Route de la Rose en Fête took place on June 8 and 9 at Château de Chamerolles. The 77 rose varieties of the estate were highlighted with a sensory trail through the castle's flowered rooms, guided tours of the rose garden, rose cooking workshops, tastings of floral pastries, and an enchanted evening on Saturday with an olfactory rally in the gardens and a candlelit tour.
La Route de la Rose en Fête 2024
The 2024 edition was held on June 8 and 9 at Château de Chamerolles, with extended hours on Saturday from 10 AM to 11:30 PM and on Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM.
Highlights
- Floral decoration of the castle rooms: Floral creations and bouquets showcasing the different rose varieties of the estate for a sensory experience
- Guided tours of the rose garden: Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM, to discover the 77 varieties of roses and their scents (duration 1h15)
- Tastings: Rose macarons and pastries concocted by the restaurant Le Lancelot
- Paper rose workshop: Artisanal creation included with admission ticket
- Enchanted Saturday evening (7:30 PM-11:30 PM): Olfactory rally in the illuminated gardens and guided candlelit tour of the castle (ages 12+, reservation required)
Visitors could also enjoy activity booklets and the Renaissance gardens in their summer bloom.
