41st Edition — Pentecost 2025
For its 41st edition, Saint Jazz sur Vie offered a high-caliber program. On Friday, June 6, the festival's godmother Rhoda Scott returned to enchant the audience with her Lady Quartet, featuring Sophie Alour on tenor saxophone, Lisa Cat-Berro on alto saxophone, and Julie Saury on drums. The Hammond organ virtuoso delivered a masterful performance, confirming her unwavering connection with the festival.
On Saturday, June 7, Richard Galliano and his New York Tango Trio — with Adrien Moignard on guitar and Philippe Aerts on double bass — transported the audience into the captivating world of New Tango and New Musette. Throughout the weekend, the Village du Jazz vibrated to the sounds of bands like Bossa Beurre Salé, Oxo Trio, Jazzola Quartet, Sea Swing Quartet, and Only New Jazz Band, while parades animated the streets of the port city.
