Edition 2025 — Salaise Blues Festival
37th edition of the Salaise Blues Festival. Three weeks of blues in Isère with free Blues'n'Bar, a musical conference, a concert for young audiences, and two major concert evenings at the Foyer Laurent Bouvier on April 4th and 5th.
37th edition: blues in all its diversity
The 37th edition of the Salaise Blues Festival took place from March 14th to April 5th, 2025, offering three weeks of programming centered around the blues. The two major concert evenings were held on Friday, April 4th, and Saturday, April 5th, at the Foyer Communal Laurent Bouvier, starting at 8:30 PM.
Friday, April 4th, 2025
The first evening brought together three artists with complementary universes. Joyce Tape, an Ivorian singer-songwriter and bassist based in France for about twenty years, opened the evening with a blues colored by her West African culture. Nasser Ben Dadoo & White Feet, a finalist of the International Blues Challenge, presented a modern and traveling blues blending influences from the Mississippi Delta and 6/8 African rhythms. Finally, Delgrès, a Creole blues-rock power trio, closed the evening with their fusion of hypnotic rock, earthy soul, and abrasive garage.
Saturday, April 5th, 2025
The second evening featured An Diaz & Yokatta Brothers, creators of an album with Louisiana flavors, followed by Beverly Jo Scott & Friends, a Belgian singer of American origin specializing in blues-rock, and Ana Popovic accompanied by the Cinelli Brothers for an explosive finale.
Complementary events
On Saturday, April 5th, a musical conference was given by American musicologist David Evans at the Elsa-Triolet media library from 4 PM to 5:30 PM. Free Blues'n'Bar concerts enlivened the region's bars throughout the festival.
