Edition 2025 — Val de Lire
The 40th edition of the Salon du Livre Jeunesse Val de Lire was held from March 28 to 30, 2025, at the Complexe Alain Jarsaillon in Beaugency, celebrating "40 years of adventures... to be continued". The featured artist was Emmanuelle Houdart, whose exhibition transformed the Église Saint-Étienne into a cabinet of curiosities. 24 author-illustrators, 11 exhibitions, over 20 professional facilitators, and a hundred school meetings marked this anniversary edition.

For its 40th edition, the Salon du Livre Jeunesse Val de Lire celebrated four decades of existence with the theme "40 years of adventures... to be continued", highlighting the vitality and longevity of this major youth literature event.
Featured Artist
Emmanuelle Houdart, a renowned children's author and illustrator known for her dreamlike and unique universe, was honored. Her exhibition transformed the Église Saint-Étienne into a true cabinet of curiosities, visible until April 6.
