Sancerre Christmas Market 2024
On December 14th and 15th, 2024, Sancerre was adorned with its finest decorations to celebrate Christmas. The wine village offered fun activities to enjoy with family or friends.
Saturday, December 14th, was dedicated to the Saturday of Lights. The day began with a carriage ride to discover Sancerre at the pace of the horses, from 10 am to 5 pm. Gourmet readings for ages 2 to 6 were offered at the Petite Maison de la Culture from 10 am to 10:45 am and from 2 pm to 2:30 pm.
On Sunday, December 15th, Christmas at the Cellars opened the doors of the wineries: tastings of crepes, mulled wine, and honey at the Château de Sancerre, an olfactory tasting "Journey to the heart of the senses" at 3 pm by reservation, a Land & Sea workshop at Domaine Vincent Grall with oyster and wine sales, and a grand cru chocolate & wine workshop at the historic cellar of Domaine Joseph Mellot.

Saturday, December 14th:
- 10 am - 5 pm: Carriage ride in Sancerre
- 10 am - 10:45 am and 2 pm - 2:30 pm: Gourmet readings for ages 2-6 (Petite Maison de la Culture)
Sunday, December 15th:
- 10 am - 6 pm: Château de Sancerre - Tasting of crepes, mulled wine, honey
- 3 pm: Olfactory tasting "Journey to the heart of the senses" (Château de Sancerre, by reservation)
- 10 am - 12 pm: Domaine Vincent Grall - Land & Sea workshop (oysters and wine)
- 10 am - 12 pm and 2 pm - 6 pm: Domaine Joseph Mellot - Grand cru chocolate & wine workshop
