Edition 2025 — Science Festival at Puy de Dôme
The Science Festival at the summit of Puy de Dôme will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The OPGC will open its doors to the public with science popularization workshops and guided tours. The event is free but booking is mandatory for certain activities.

The summit of Puy de Dôme hosts the 2025 Science Festival on Saturday, October 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Clermont Auvergne University's Observatoire de Physique du Globe de Clermont-Ferrand (OPGC) opens its doors to the public for a day of discovery of Earth, atmosphere, and space sciences.
On the program: science popularization workshops, guided tours of the observatory, interactive experiments, and educational activities for the whole family. Special tours are planned for children aged 8 to 13, with a snack offered.
