27th Edition: The Fire Festival
The 27th edition of the Sedan Medieval Festival was held on May 11 and 12, 2024 at the Castle, with the theme "The Fire Festival". This edition celebrated the 600th anniversary of the Sedan Castle with an exceptional program: medieval pyrotechnic shows, knightly combat in armor, historically recreated encampments, an artisan market with a hundred exhibitors, and troubadour music. Over 40,000 visitors walked the cobblestones of the largest fortress in Europe.
