Edition 2025 — Semaine Taurine
The 41st Semaine Taurine de Saint-Sever took place from October 11 to 19, 2025. The program included the vernissage of Toro Expo with six artists at the Cloître des Jacobins, a Landes race, an Auberge Espagnole, the screening of the film 'Tarde de soledad', conferences with Clemente and Richard Milian, the Nuit de la Peña, and a taurine festival celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Adour Afición school.
41st Semaine Taurine de Saint-Sever - 2025
The 41st Semaine Taurine of Saint-Sever was held from October 11 to 19, 2025, offering nine days of taurine and cultural events.
On Saturday, October 11, the vernissage of Toro Expo opened the festivities at the Cloître des Jacobins with six exhibiting artists. On Sunday, October 12, a Landes race at 4 PM and an Auberge Espagnole brought aficionados together. On Monday, October 13, the free screening of the film 'Tarde de soledad' at the cinema offered a cinematic look at the taurine world.
On Thursday, October 16, and Friday, October 17, two conferences enlivened the week: one with Clemente, the other with Richard Milian and his former students who became matadors. On Saturday, October 18, the Nuit de la Peña concluded the week with music at the Peña's headquarters.
Sunday, October 19, the highlight of the Week, celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Adour Afición taurine school with a free tienta at the Cloître des Jacobins, a grand Repas de l'Afición, and an exceptional taurine festival in the Arènes Henri Capdeville, bringing together former students who became matadors: Antonio Joao Ferreira, Thomas Dufau, Mathieu Guillon, Dorian Canton, and Yon Lamothe.
