St Hil Jazz Festival
2024
Edition 2024 — Finished
Edition 2024 — St Hil Jazz
6th Edition — Erik Truffaz and Stéphane Belmondo Featured
The 2024 edition of the St Hil Jazz Festival offered an ambitious program bringing together major figures of the jazz scene. On Saturday evening, trumpeter Erik Truffaz, a key figure in European jazz, electrified the Parc de la Cure with his quintet, blending jazz, electro, and world influences. On Sunday, the quartet led by Dimitry Baevsky, an American alto saxophonist based in Paris, delivered a moment of pure acoustic jazz, enhanced by the guest appearance of trumpeter Stéphane Belmondo.
The festival also highlighted original formations: the Armel Dupas trio opened Saturday's performances, and Krystal Mundi, a string and brass ensemble, provided an elegant start to Sunday.
