Edition 2025 — St Hil Jazz
The 7th edition of the St Hil Jazz Festival took place on September 6 and 7, 2025, at the Parc de la Cure. Cuban pianist Rolando Luna, formerly of the Buena Vista Social Club, was the Saturday headliner, alongside the Toulouse-based group Amblar and guitarist Rémy Hervo. Sunday featured the gypsy jazz trio of Youenn Derrien and the quartet The Hookup.

7th Edition — Rolando Luna, from Buena Vista Social Club to Pays de Retz
The 2025 edition of the St Hil Jazz Festival offered a rich and varied program, highlighted by the performance of Cuban pianist Rolando Luna. A collaborator with the Buena Vista Social Club for over ten years and co-founder of the group El Comité, Rolando Luna delivered a vibrant concert, infused with Afro-Cuban rhythms and pianistic virtuosity.
Saturday also featured guitarist Rémy Hervo in a trio with a guest, and the quintet Amblar, a Toulouse-based formation exploring contemporary jazz territories. On Sunday, in the relaxed atmosphere of the musical brunch, Youenn Derrien's trio enchanted the audience with their gypsy jazz, followed by The Hookup quartet led by singer Axelle du Rouret.
