The 2024 edition of the Terres d'Ailleurs festival marked the 19th year of this essential cinematic event in the Sud Retz Atlantique territory. Organized by CinéLegé and CinéMachecoul, the festival presented a new selection of films from five continents.
The opening night was held on November 15 at 8 PM with a screening of the film 'Ô Genghis', in the presence of director Alan Simon. This opening event set the tone for an edition focused on travel and discovery.
For three weeks, the festival offered screenings for the general public as well as a school program for students in the territory, from kindergarten to high school, with adapted screenings followed by discussion and mediation sessions.
