19th Edition — Homage to Schubert
The 2025 edition of Tons Voisins paid a vibrant tribute to Franz Schubert, exploring the inexhaustible richness of his work through about fifteen concerts held in Albi's heritage sites. From June 3 to 7, forty international musicians brought to life the sonatas, string quartets, lieder, trios, and quintets of the Viennese composer.
Pianist and artistic director Denis Pascal, a steadfast pillar of the festival since its inception, designed a musical journey highlighting the emotional depth and modernity of Schubert's writing. The Palais de la Berbie, the Grand Théâtre, the Théâtre des Lices, and the Hôtel de Gorsse offered their unique acoustics to these moments of intimate and intense music, confirming Tons Voisins as one of France's most endearing chamber music festivals.
