Trail de Lavault-Sainte-Anne and Gorges du Cher

16th Edition - February 17-18, 2024

The sixteenth edition of the Trail de Lavault-Sainte-Anne took place on February 17 and 18, 2024, bringing together 650 participants who came to brave the winter landscapes of the Gorges du Cher. On Saturday evening, the Noctambule race attracted 120 courageous runners who completed 12 km by the light of their headlamps in a frosty forest, creating a magical and demanding atmosphere. On Sunday, the five main races allowed trail runners of all levels to discover the gorges under a clear winter sky.

The Raid des Gorges du Cher (32 km) saw a local runner win in 2h48, while the other races (Balade à Paulo, Grimpette de la Buse, and Découverte) were a great success with increased participation rates. The generous aid stations, the hot soup at the finish, and the friendly atmosphere were praised by the participants. The mountain bike rides and children's races completed this family sports weekend in a warm atmosphere despite the cool temperatures.
