Trail de Lavault-Sainte-Anne and Gorges du Cher

17th Edition - February 15-16, 2025

The 2025 edition of the Trail de Lavault-Sainte-Anne, organized on February 15 and 16, confirmed the growing success of the event with 720 participants, a record turnout. The ideal weather conditions (clear sky, cool but bearable temperatures) allowed runners to fully enjoy the spectacular landscapes of the Gorges du Cher. The Noctambule on Saturday evening attracted 140 intrepid trail runners who appreciated the renewed night course with a passage near the mysterious Château de l'Ours.

On Sunday, the Raid des Gorges saw record participation with 180 runners on the 32 km course, demonstrating the appeal of the technical and demanding route. The aid stations, further enhanced with local products (dry sausage, cheeses, seasonal fruits), were particularly appreciated. The canicross, introduced alongside the classic races, was a great success with 35 master-dog duos. The mountain bike rides gathered 80 cyclists on two routes of 25 and 40 km. The organization was praised for its quality, friendliness, and respect for the natural environment of the gorges.
