16th Edition: 2,087 Finishers Under the Sun
The 16th edition of the Trail des Citadelles took place on Sunday, March 31, 2024, in Lavelanet. Five distances were offered: 10 km (500 m D+), 24 km (1,200 m D+), 39 km (2,000 m D+), 57 km (2,800 m D+), and 72 km (3,400 m D+).
Unlike previous editions often marked by rain and mud, this edition benefited from favorable weather conditions with sunny skies and mostly dry terrain. A total of 2,087 runners crossed the finish line, confirming the growing appeal of the event.
