Ty'Babel #1: First Edition

The first edition of the Ty'Babel festival took place from March 27 to 30, 2025, at Athénor, National Centre for Musical Creation in Saint-Nazaire. This new festival dedicated to young children and very young children offered four days of concerts, shows, workshops, and sound installations, with an eclectic musical program combining improvisation, electronic song, sign language concert, musical storytelling, and sensory sound experiences for toddlers.

The festival hosted six shows and ten family performances, as well as twelve school performances reaching 500 students from the Saint-Nazaire area. Three local companies, including one from Saint-Nazaire and two from Brittany, participated in this inaugural edition.

A highlight of this first edition was the creation BaBaribulles, conceived by Chloé Cailleton and Ronan Le Gouriérec in collaboration with seven classes from three schools in the area, as part of the Territorial Cultural Project, in partnership with the Saint-Nazaire collective À l'envers. This creation was subsequently presented at the Babel Minots festival in Marseille and Babel Mômes in Seine-Saint-Denis and Paris.
