10th Edition: An Anniversary Under the Sign of Snow

On Sunday, February 16, 2020, the Ubaye Snow Trail Salomon celebrated its 10th edition in Saint-Paul-sur-Ubaye, marking a decade of snow trail running in the high Ubaye valley. Nearly 1,000 runners registered for this anniversary, confirming the growing appeal of the event.

Snow conditions were excellent: 40 cm at the start, 70 cm in Fouillouse, and up to 1 meter at Plate Lombarde. The 22 km Elite course took runners up to an altitude of 2,250 m at the foot of the Brec de Chambeyron, while the 9 km Discovery course offered an ideal introduction to snow trail running.

This anniversary edition was part of the Challenge des Trails de Provence and benefited from Salomon's support as title sponsor, with free registration for the first 250 women and a free day ski pass for all participants.

• 10:00 AM: Start of the Elite Course "Brec de Chambeyron" — 22 km, 1,010 m D+
• 10:45 AM: Start of the Discovery Course "Tête de la Fréma" — 9 km, 250 m D+

Course

• Start and finish at the welcome chalet of the Nordic area of Saint-Paul-sur-Ubaye (1,450 m)
• Passage through Fouillouse and ascent to Plate Lombarde (2,250 m)
• 100% on snow: groomed tracks, snowshoe trails, virgin terrain
