UltrAriège 2024: The Challenge of the Ariège Pyrenees
The 2024 edition of UltrAriège Pyrénées took place from July 19 to 21. This edition featured six races from 15 to 170 km (the ultra distance was reduced to 160 km for the 2026 edition), starting from Guzet, Mercus, Monts d'Olmes, and Ax-les-Thermes. The 1,500 registered trail runners faced technical trails and Ariège ridges in demanding mountain conditions, supported by the warmth of volunteers and the villages they passed through.
