The 2025 edition of Univerciné Italien offered a rich selection of contemporary Italian films, presented in their original subtitled version at the Katorza cinema. Among the films in competition were Quell'estate con Irene, Familia ai lupi, Ciao Bambino, and Io e il secco.
The audience could vote for their favorite film to award the Audience Award, while a student jury presented the Univerciné Jury Award. Meetings with directors and discussions about the films punctuated the week.
