Pottery Festival 2025 — 8th edition of the potters' market

The 8th edition of the potters' market took place on Sunday, August 10, 2025, in the historic center of Vallauris, from 9 AM to midnight. The Place de l'Homme au Mouton and Place de la Libération hosted professional potters showcasing ceramics in all its forms: stoneware, faience, porcelain, glazed earthenware, and raku.

At 11:15 AM, the procession of Saint Claude, patron saint of potters, crossed Avenue Georges Clémenceau, accompanied by the flag throwers from Castiglion Fiorentino. The reception of honor followed at 12:30 PM in Place Saint-Martin. In the afternoon, raku firing demonstrations took place at the Pottery Museum from 3 PM to 6:30 PM.

Throughout the day, participatory workshops — decoration, sculpture, modeling — allowed the public to learn the gestures of ceramics. Street shows, folkloric parades, and animated processions completed this festive day celebrating Vallauris's ceramic heritage.
