28th Voyage d'Hiver - 2024/2025 Season

The 28th edition of the Voyage d'Hiver festival, organized by the association Musica Formosa in partnership with CABA and the Théâtre d'Aurillac, offered a rich and varied musical season from autumn 2024 to spring 2025.

The festival opened on October 15, 2024, with the Duo Argos (Sotiris Athanasiou, guitar and Julien Beautemps, accordion) in Velzic, with a program titled "Rhapsody in Blue" mixing Gnattali, Debussy, Gershwin, and Fazil Say. In December 2024, a triptych of romantic pianos continued the season at the Théâtre d'Aurillac.

On February 14, 2025, pianist Luo-Chin Le Bot and flutist Tatiana Walisiak performed in Vic-sur-Cère. On February 23, the vocal ensemble IRINI offered an a cappella program of Mediterranean music from Rome to Constantinople in the church of Laroquebrou. In March, the ensemble La Grande Garabagne performed in Saint-Paul-des-Landes (March 13) and Maurines (March 20).

The season concluded on April 5 and 6, 2025, at the Théâtre d'Aurillac with a musical show about the love story between Turgenev and Pauline Viardot, narrated by Hélène Delavault and accompanied by works by Chopin and Liszt performed by Denis Pascal, followed by a concert by Denis Pascal's family trio.
