About Vignobles en Scène
Vignobles en Scène (formerly Fascinant Week-End) is the national wine tourism event supported by the Vignobles & Découvertes label from Atout France. Every third weekend of October, labeled sites in the Charentes Cognac-Saintonge destination open their doors for three days of festive, creative, and gourmet experiences around cognac, pineau des Charentes, and Charente wines. Tastings, vineyard walks, concerts, workshops, and meetings with winegrowers make up a rich and accessible program.

The wine tourism event of the Charentes Cognac-Saintonge destination
Vignobles en Scène is a national event supported by the Vignobles & Découvertes label awarded by Atout France. Every third weekend of October, over 70 labeled destinations in France open their doors to celebrate wine tourism. In the Charentes, the Cognac-Saintonge destination fully participates in this event with a program of activities throughout the vineyards.
From Fascinant Week-End to Vignobles en Scène
The event was previously known as Fascinant Week-End Vignobles & Découvertes, launched in 2022. In 2025, it was renamed Vignobles en Scène for its first edition under this new name. This name change is accompanied by a reinforced ambition: to make this weekend a festive and accessible moment to discover the diversity of French terroirs.
Three days of experiences in the vineyards
The program offers tastings of cognac, pineau des Charentes, and Charente wines, walks in the vineyards (on foot, by bike, or electric scooter), concerts and shows in wine estates, discovery workshops, and meetings with winegrowers. The event offers a unique opportunity to (re)discover the Cognac vineyards in a different way, between culture, heritage, and sensory pleasures.
An event supported by Charentes Tourisme
In the Charentes, the event is coordinated by Charentes Tourisme in partnership with Destination Cognac, Destination Jonzac – Haute Saintonge, the Regional Tourist Committee of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, and the interprofessional organizations of the Charentes-Cognac wine basin (BNIC, Union du Pineau des Charentes, Vins IGP Charentais).

2nd edition of Vignobles en Scène in the Charentes
The 2nd edition of Vignobles en Scène will take place on the third weekend of October 2026 in the Cognac-Saintonge vineyards and in all Vignobles & Découvertes labeled destinations in France.
The program will offer tastings, walks in the vineyards, concerts, workshops, and meetings with winegrowers to discover cognac, pineau des Charentes, and Charente wines in a different way.

The events take place throughout the Cognac-Saintonge vineyards, at winegrowers' estates, in cognac houses, and in Vignobles & Découvertes labeled estates.
