The Viking Festival of Jumièges 2025 took place on June 28th and 29th in the abbey park. Viking camps, warrior fights, falconry, axe throwing, medieval market, banquet, and a night show immersed visitors in the world of the Northmen in the heart of France's most beautiful ruin.

Viking Festival 2025 at Jumièges Abbey
On June 28th and 29th, 2025, Jumièges Abbey hosted its annual Viking Festival. The park of this ancient abbey was transformed into a vast camp where the association Les Enfants de Rollon and other re-enactment troupes brought the Viking era back to life.
On Saturday, visitors could explore the camps, witness warrior fights, try axe throwing, and admire falconry demonstrations. The medieval market offered crafts and Scandinavian-inspired specialties. The Viking banquet gathered guests in the park in the evening, followed by the night show projected on the abbey walls from 11 PM to midnight.
On Sunday, activities continued from 10 AM to 6:30 PM, with Nordic tales, medieval circus, and participatory workshops for children.
