The Villeneuve-sur-Yonne Patronal Festival 2025 was held from August 8th to 15th. The funfair animated Quai Roland Bonnion for a week. On August 14th, the medieval festival took over Parc de la Mairie and Boulevard Marceau, before the grand fireworks display at 10:30 PM on the quays. August 15th was the patronal day with entertainment, concerts, and a popular ball in the town center.

Villeneuve-sur-Yonne Patronal Festival 2025
From August 8th to 15th, 2025, Villeneuve-sur-Yonne (89500) celebrated its grand patronal festival in the magnificent setting of its Yonne riverbanks and medieval center.
The Funfair on the Quays
For a week, the funfair at Quai Roland Bonnion offered its rides, attractions, and stalls to families from the Sénonais region. Young and old enjoyed this unmissable summer event.
August 14th and 15th: Medieval Festival and Fireworks
On August 14th, from 12 PM to 10 PM, the medieval festival took over Parc de la Mairie and Boulevard Marceau, featuring knights, troubadours, artisans, and period encampments. In the evening, at 10:30 PM, the grand fireworks display launched from Quai Roland Bonnion illuminated the waters of the Yonne, drawing thousands of spectators to the riverbanks. On August 15th, from 10 AM to 6 PM, medieval entertainment resumed for a festive and family-friendly day. A popular ball and concerts concluded the festivities of this wonderful 2025 edition.
