Edition 2024 — Woodrock

12th edition of the Woodrock Festival in Urcel, on June 28 and 29, 2024. First paid edition of the festival with very affordable prices. Eight bands over two days in the school park, with Astonvilla, Dynamite Shakers, and La Milca as headliners.

12th edition: Woodrock goes paid while remaining accessible

The 2024 edition of the Woodrock Festival marked a turning point in the event's history: after eleven years of being free, the festival introduced paid ticketing to ensure its sustainability, while maintaining very reasonable prices (8 euros for a day in advance). Admission remained free for minors.

The lineup for this 12th edition brought together eight bands over two days. On Friday, June 28, the doors opened at 7 PM with Thursday Black Box, followed by Astonvilla, a leading band on the French alternative rock scene, and Motolo. On Saturday, June 29, starting at 5 PM, the audience enjoyed Matt Van T, La Milca, Ze Jambons, the explosive Dynamite Shakers, and Rue d'la Soif.

As with every edition, the festival offered its bar and homemade food, prepared by the volunteers of the association Les Rockiens des Bois, in the green setting of the Urcel school park.
