Edition 2025 — Storytelling Festival
The 15th edition of the World Storytelling Festival, organized by Compagnie Gakokoé, was held from March 18 to 23, 2025, in Montbéliard and about twenty municipalities in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Over 60 performances by storytellers from around the world were offered to the public.

15th World Storytelling Festival - 2025 Edition
The 15th edition of the World Storytelling Festival took place from March 18 to 23, 2025, in Montbéliard and 23 municipalities in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Organized by Compagnie Gakokoé, it featured over 60 performances combining traditional tales, world legends, and contemporary creations.
Among the highlights, the Maraconte at Square Sponeck under a big top offered a performance every hour from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, March 22. The Night of Erotic Tales, for adults, was held on Saturday evening at L'Accent with a tasting of magic potions. The Storytelling Safari, an itinerant hunt for stories in the streets of Montbéliard, concluded the festival on Sunday, March 23, with a final performance at Les Bains Douches.

- March 18-21: Performances in schools, media libraries, community centers, and museums in the Pays de Montbéliard
- Saturday, March 22: Maraconte at Square Sponeck (10 am-5 pm, one performance per hour)
- Saturday, March 22 evening: Night of Erotic Tales at L'Accent
- Sunday, March 23: Itinerant Storytelling Safari in Montbéliard (3 pm), final performance at Les Bains Douches
