20 Years of Yes or Notes — Peace and Music
The 2025 edition of Yes or Notes celebrated the festival's 20th anniversary from May 8 to 11, 2025, in conjunction with the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. 65 groups performed over four days at the Espace Georges-Déziré, on the Raymond-Devos, Maurice-Béjart, Léonard-Bernstein, Steve-Reich, and Wilfride-Piollet stages.
The international dimension was particularly strong with musicians and dancers from Germany (Nordenham), England (Gateshead), Ukraine, Argentina, and Senegal. Four exhibitions accompanied the concerts: works on peace, 20 years of festival posters, cultural mapping, and children's rights. A festive picnic on May 8 opened the festivities in an atmosphere of conviviality and sharing.
