Edition 2025 — Zéphyr Festival
The fourth edition of the Zéphyr Festival was held from June 13 to 15, 2025 in Saint-Jean-de-Bournay under the circus tent. This festive weekend featured a groove night with New York DJ Nickodemus and Woodblocks Sound System, a Clown Night with Cie Les Humains Gauches, and a family Sunday with shows, a marching band, rides, and fairground entertainment.
4th Edition – A Weekend of Celebration Under the Tent
For its fourth edition, the Zéphyr Festival took over the rugby stadium in Saint-Jean-de-Bournay from June 13 to 15, 2025, offering three days of festivities under its iconic circus tent. True to its spirit of conviviality and discovery, this edition featured a rich and varied program, mixing concerts, live performances, and entertainment for all audiences.
Friday, June 13 – Groove Night
The festival opened its doors on Friday evening with Groove Night, a musical evening dedicated to dance rhythms and mixed sounds. Headlining this first evening, New York DJ Nickodemus, an emblematic figure of the world bass and tropical scene since the mid-1990s, set the tent ablaze with his sets mixing cumbia, afrobeat, house, and reggae. He was accompanied by Woodblocks Sound System, a musical collective with varied influences, and Room Bazar, who ensured a festive atmosphere throughout the evening. The band Technobrass, a quirky electro marching band, completed this lineup with its overflowing energy and catchy rhythms.
Saturday, June 14 – Clown Night
Saturday evening was dedicated to the traditional Clown Night, a signature event of the Zéphyr Festival. Compagnie Les Humains Gauches presented a show mixing contemporary clowning, poetry, and burlesque, performed by Aurélien Weis, Zoé Bourdaud, and Julie Maingonnat. Two opening clown acts kicked off the evening, offering the audience a panorama of clowning arts ranging from intimate solos to wild duets.
Sunday, June 15 – Family Sunday
Sunday was entirely dedicated to families with a full day of free entertainment called La Plaine des Jeux (The Games Plain). Young children and their parents enjoyed shows for young audiences by Compagnie Du Piaf and Compagnie Solsikke, as well as the quirky show by Radical Ronron. Fairground rides, carnival games, discovery workshops, and a walking band completed this festive day, transforming the festival site into a true festival village.
