20th Edition — July 15 to 18, 2025
For its 20th anniversary, the À Portée de Rue festival offered Castres residents and their visitors an exceptional program from July 15 to 18, 2025. The Town Hall courtyard, the steps of the Notre-Dame de la Platé church, the Bishop's Garden, and the Goya Museum once again served as backdrops for great musical moments.
The day began with a musical walk featuring trumpeters Antoine Fauré and Clément Brunet, guiding the public through Castres' architectural heritage. In the evening, pianist Nicolas Bourdoncle performed Chopin on the steps of Notre-Dame de la Platé, followed by an intimate concert by the duo Jean Ferrandis (flute) and Emmanuel Rossfelder (guitar) in the Bishop's Garden. The Quatuor Almaviva then presented a program of cello quartets. The grand finale brought together Le Consort, a baroque ensemble conducted by Théotime Langlois de Swarte, for a Vivaldi program in the Town Hall courtyard, followed by a magnificent closing performance by the Choir of the Opéra National du Capitole.
