The 24th Edition of Arts et Festins du Monde
The 24th edition of Arts et Festins du Monde was held on Friday, June 28th, and Saturday, June 29th, 2024, in the town center of Gardanne, from boulevard Carnot to cours de la Republique. Nearly fifty artisans and solidarity associations and forty restaurateurs from around the world took over the pedestrian streets for two days of cosmopolitan celebration.
On Friday, June 28th, La Banda du Dock, a 18-musician ensemble blending salsa and rock, ignited the stage, followed by the Tahiti Show at 10 PM. On Saturday, June 29th, performances continued with Africa Tiekala (African dance), Medusa (cumbia with 9 musicians), Via Brasil (Brazilian show with musicians and dancers), and DJs in the lounge area. A participatory painting on a large format (700 x 200 cm) with artist Pab invited the public to create a collective artwork gifted to the town.
