A World Tour of Flavors and Arts

Arts et Festins du Monde is a unique festival in the Bouches-du-Rhone region, born in 2000 in Gardanne, a town located between Aix-en-Provence and Marseille. For over twenty-five years, this event has offered a true world tour of flavors, crafts, and performances, taking over the town center from boulevard Carnot to cours de la Republique for two days of celebration open to all.

International Gastronomy

Nearly forty restaurateurs set up their stalls along the pedestrian streets, offering culinary specialties from around the world: African, Asian, South American, Caribbean, Mediterranean, Oriental cuisine, and many more. Visitors can thus travel from continent to continent through flavors, discovering authentic dishes prepared on-site in an open-air market atmosphere.

Craftsmanship and Solidarity Associations

About fifty artisans and solidarity associations present their creations and products: jewelry, textiles, decorative objects, natural cosmetics, and art crafts from around the world. This space for discovery and meeting allows visitors to immerse themselves in the richness of world cultures while supporting solidarity and fair-trade projects.

Performances, Music, and Street Arts

The artistic program of Arts et Festins du Monde is as cosmopolitan and festive as its gastronomy. Salsa orchestras, cumbia bands, African dances, Brazilian shows, Tahitian performances, and DJs animate the two days and evenings of the festival. Participatory activities — such as collaborative large-format painting — invite the public to contribute to a collective work that will be gifted to the town of Gardanne. A musical lounge area complements the offerings with continuous musical sets.
