Edition 2025 — Ascension of Hérisson
The 2025 edition of Ascension at Hérisson Castle took place from May 30th to June 1st. The company Les Rétamés and the Chevaliers d'Allen animated the fortress with a medieval village, theatrical tours, choreographed fights, and a storytelling evening. Visitors could discover the remains of this former stronghold of the Dukes of Bourbon in a festive and immersive atmosphere.

2025 Edition: May 30th to June 1st
The 2025 edition of Ascension at Hérisson Castle took place from May 30th to June 1st, 2025, during the extended Ascension weekend. The company Les Rétamés, accompanied by performer Ruby Schiels, and the Chevaliers d'Allen took over the fortress ruins for three days of medieval entertainment.
Visitors enjoyed theatrical tours of the castle at 2 PM, 3:30 PM, and 5 PM, witnessed choreographed sword fights, and explored the medieval village set up in the fortress courtyard. The storytelling evening on Saturday night gathered spectators in the enchanting atmosphere of the ruins at dusk. Savory and sweet food was available on-site thanks to the food trucks present from noon onwards.
