Draguignan Asian Cinema Festival 2025 – 4th Edition in Draguignan
The 4th edition of the Draguignan Asian Cinema Festival brought together Asian cinema enthusiasts in the city's screening rooms in March 2025. For several days, an eclectic program of Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and animated films transported the Var audience to the four corners of the Asian continent, through cinematic perspectives as varied as the cultures represented.
The 2025 selection highlighted recent works and heritage films, allowing audiences to discover new trends in Asian cinema as well as (re)discover little-known or unjustly forgotten classics. Animated films – a genre in which Japan has excelled for decades – held a significant place in the program, attracting family audiences and fans of artistic animation.
