2024 Edition - 1224, In the Time of the Builders
The second edition of Au Fil des Siècles took place on July 20 and 21, 2024, in the park of the Domaine Royal de Dreux. The theme "1224, In the Time of the Builders" celebrated the 800th anniversary of the construction of the Château de Dannemarche. Across three hectares, medieval camps came to life with combat arenas, craft workshops, and equestrian demonstrations.
Numerous reenactment groups participated: Excalibur Yvelines, Le Griffon Rouge, Compagnie Médiévale de Saint-Ouen, Les Derniers Trouvères, Viva Historia, Tria Acumina, and the Écomusée des Vignerons et Artisans Drouais. Visitors could witness knightly tournaments, try archery and coin minting, and discover the techniques of medieval builders.

- 10:00 AM: Opening of medieval camps
- All day: Hands-on workshops (archery, coin minting, weapon handling)
- Demonstrations: Sword fighting, builder techniques
- Tournaments: Knightly jousts in the arena
- Activities: Medieval music and dance, period crafts
- 6:00 PM: Closing
