Edition 2025 — Aubeterre Summer Festival
1st edition of the Aubeterre Summer Festival, from August 9 to 11, 2025 at Pré Louis in Aubeterre-sur-Dronne. The festival hosted Philippe Cohen Solal (Gotan Project) with Edmundo Carneiro, Matt Bianco, and Shakatak over three evenings.
1st edition: birth of a new festival
The 1st edition of the Aubeterre Summer Festival took place from August 9 to 11, 2025 at Pré Louis, by the Dronne river. Three open-air music evenings, from 6 PM to 11 PM, offered a "guinguette" atmosphere with local artists as opening acts and international headliners.
Saturday, August 9, Philippe Cohen Solal (founder of Gotan Project) and Edmundo Carneiro opened the festival with their show Bal Fuego. Sunday, August 10, the British band Matt Bianco captivated the audience with their sophisticated jazz-pop. Monday, August 11, Shakatak closed this first edition with their iconic jazz-funk.
