Auvillar Musical Week 2025

From August 3rd to 8th, 2025, the Musical Week once again transformed the village of Auvillar into a summer musical stage, following a carefully prepared program bringing together French and German musicians.

The week began on August 3rd with the traditional welcome of the musicians from Tübingen, the German twin town, whose visit each year is one of the highlights of the Franco-German exchange that forms the identity of the event. Starting the next day, the first impromptu concerts under the circular market hall brought musicians and the public together in the friendly and warm atmosphere characteristic of these informal concerts.

The musical picnic on August 5th allowed festival-goers to gather in a festive and shared spirit, with music and gastronomy combined under the summer sky. The concerts on August 6th and 7th, at the Saint-Pierre church and during an evening in Moissac, offered more solemn and reflective listening moments, highlighting the acoustic qualities and the emotion of the heritage venues. The week concluded on August 8th with a particularly festive closing impromptu, applauded by a large and loyal audience.
