Biennale de danse 2025
The Biennale de danse du Val-de-Marne 2025 unfolded its program from March 12 to April 11 in 28 partner municipalities in the department and beyond. With 22 artistic projects and 65 choreographic performances, this edition confirmed the biennale's place as one of the most important choreographic events in the Paris region.
A Resident Opening
The biennale began with a unique choreographic experience: a dance of Vitry, imagined and performed by the residents of Vitry-sur-Seine themselves, under the artistic direction of an invited choreographer. This participatory project, at the crossroads of professional creation and civic engagement, established a true shared choreographic heritage for the city.
Eclectic Programming
The 2025 edition offered a geographical and aesthetic journey: flamenco and flamboyant rumba, afrofuturism, a reinvented bolero, Catalan folklore, hip-hop, and electric vibrations. The performances took place from Vitry-sur-Seine to Châtenay-Malabry, from Champigny-sur-Marne to Villecresnes, from Corbeil-Essonne to Ormesson.
