Périgueux Carnival 2024
The Périgueux Carnival 2024 brought together thousands of costumed participants on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Place de la Clautre. On the program: DJ set, costume contest with Queen Elsa as the star costume, giant confetti battle, creative and makeup workshops for children.
In the late afternoon, the grand procession paraded through the streets of Périgueux to the banks of the Isle for the traditional cremation of the Pétassou, symbolically marking the end of winter.
