The 2025 edition of Chahut! Musiques en Cévennes took place from August 6th to 9th, 2025, in Saint-Germain-de-Calberte. 2025 Edition: August 6th to 9th
The 2025 edition of the Chahut! Musiques en Cévennes festival was held from August 6th to 9th, 2025, at the temple and in the public spaces of Saint-Germain-de-Calberte. Four days of concerts, workshops, conferences, and literary encounters centered around the theme of exile.
Wednesday, August 6th
Exhibition "L'Envol" by Nadia Nakhlé at the temple. Tribute to Rohan de Saram by Claudio Pasceri on cello.
Thursday, August 7th
Book signings with Nadia Nakhlé and Gaëtan Nocq. Conference/round table with Gaëtan Nocq. Archytas concert (mixed electroacoustic music, 3D spatialized sound). Trobar Project concert "Exiles, those who stay, those who leave".
Friday, August 8th
Conference "The Cévennes, land of exile" with Patrick Cabanel. String quartet "Cordes en exil" (works by Dvořák, Schulhoff, Shostakovich, Pärt). Ensemble La GRANDe GARABAGNe "Also refresh the bare ground" (Lieder by Hans Eisler).
Saturday, August 9th
Le Poèmaton in the market square. Poetry/music reading. Young audience show "The world is round". Sabir Quintet concert (compositions by Raphaël Benyoucef).
