The Chestnut and Cèpe Festival 2025 took place on October 18 and 19 in Villefranche-du-Périgord. A festive edition with a chestnut market, stone spitting contest, chestnut rally, folk entertainment, and discovery of the Périgord terroir.
2025 Edition
On October 18 and 19, 2025, the bastide of Villefranche-du-Périgord celebrated a new edition of its Chestnut and Cèpe Festival. True to its tradition, the event featured a chestnut market and local products, the stone spitting contest, the chestnut rally, folk entertainment, and the ceremonies of the Confrérie de la Châtaigne.
