The Christmas Village of Place Patrick-Devedjian
Every December, Antony (92160) sets up its Christmas Village on Place Patrick-Devedjian. About thirty artisan creators occupy the 15 chalets offering jewelry, candles, bags, wooden items, and gourmet specialties. Free entertainment on weekends — miniature train, creative workshops, Santa Claus and his elves parading — for a festive market in the heart of the Val-de-Bièvre.
Every December, the town of Antony (92160) transforms into a winter village with the installation of its Christmas Village on Place Patrick-Devedjian, in the heart of the town. This festive event brings together artisan creators, gourmets, and families for about ten days around fifteen carefully selected chalets for the quality of their products.
The Christmas Village of Antony stands out for the richness of its artisanal offerings. More than thirty artisan creators offer their unique creations: handmade jewelry, scented candles, bags and fashion accessories, turned or carved wooden items, as well as original artistic creations for extraordinary Christmas gifts. On the gourmet side, lovers of festive flavors are spoiled: golden crepes, spiced mulled wine, crispy pretzels, farmhouse foie gras, and quality champagnes make up a gastronomic offering that awakens the taste buds in the winter open air.
On weekends, the Christmas Village of Antony comes alive with numerous free attractions. The creative workshops — festive face painting and Christmas card making — are very popular with children. The parade of Santa Claus and his elves creates magical moments for families. The miniature train winds through the market aisles, carrying the little ones in an enchanting atmosphere. The balloon sculptor completes this program by creating colorful characters and animals that leave with delighted children.
The Christmas Village of Antony has free access — only the photo booth has a modest fee (4 euros for 4 photos). This accessibility helps make the market a true place of life and meeting for the inhabitants of Antony and the neighboring towns of the Hauts-de-Bièvre agglomeration community. The town, known for its cultural dynamism and its many associations, finds in this winter event a beautiful reflection of its friendly and family-oriented identity.
The Antony Christmas Village returns in December 2026 to Place Patrick-Devedjian with its artisan creator chalets, gourmet specialties, and free family entertainment. The detailed program will be announced by the City of Antony in autumn 2026.
