Edition 2025 — Cœur du Var Literary Festival
The Cœur du Var Literary Festival 2025 took place from May 7th to 11th, featuring a literary fortnight in local establishments and a festive Book Festival weekend on May 10th and 11th in Gonfaron. Around 40 authors of literature, manga, and comics were welcomed for free encounters, book signings, round tables, and workshops.

Cœur du Var Literary Festival 2025 – May 7th to 11th in Gonfaron
The 2025 edition of the Cœur du Var Literary Festival took place from May 7th to 11th, 2025, combining a literary fortnight in local establishments with a festive Book Festival weekend on May 10th and 11th in Gonfaron.
Around forty authors representing all genres – novels, essays, poetry, youth literature, manga, comics – participated in this free and family-friendly event. Among the invited names: Matthieu Jasseron, Valérie Clo, Virginie Linhart, Jean Rousselot, Emmanuel Ruben, Philippe Granarolo, Yvon Bertorello, Elleana (manga), and many other authors representing the richness of contemporary literary creation.
The youth workshops were a great success, particularly the manga workshops and book creation workshops led by professional artists. The "Donne de la voix" competition – a public reading competition held on Sunday at 10:30 AM – engaged participants of all ages in a warm and supportive atmosphere. The show "L'alchimie du bonheur" on Sunday at 5 PM beautifully closed the weekend.
The themed round tables – on family in literature, literary translation, contemporary poetry – offered participants moments of reflection and in-depth discussion with the authors, in the spirit of intellectual curiosity that characterizes the festival.
