2024 Season: The Grand Moucherel Organ in Majesty
The 2024 season of Organ Concerts at the Abbey Church of Mouzon featured several recitals from July to September, bringing together recognized organists at the console of the grand Moucherel organ. The program highlighted the richness of the French classical repertoire, with works by Couperin, Grigny, Bach, and Frescobaldi, performed in the exceptional acoustics of the 13th-century Gothic abbey church.
True to its tradition of accessibility, the association Présence de l'Abbatiale maintained free admission with a voluntary contribution, allowing as many people as possible to discover or rediscover the unique sounds of this historic instrument restored by Barthélemy Formentelli.
