50th edition - Half a century of music at the Cathedral
Summer 2024 marked a historic jubilee for the International Organ Festival of Chartres: its 50th edition. From July 14 to August 18, 2024, six Sunday concerts at 4:30 PM celebrated this half-century of music in the cathedral. In parallel, five Summer Evenings at 9 PM on Thursdays (July 18 and 25, August 1, 8, and 22) offered varied programs mixing organ, voice, and instrumental ensembles.
This exceptional edition paid tribute to fifty years of concerts, international competitions, and musical influence of Chartres Cathedral worldwide.
